The next annual symposium of the AMF, the French Financial Markets Authority, will take place on Tuesday November 13 (5:30 – 8:30 PM) at the Pavillon Cambon.

This event hosts each year representatives of the Paris and European Financial Place and of the French and International economic press.
This year, the discussions will be focused on an issue of primary importance: how to regulate crypto-assets?

After an opening speech by Robert Ophèle, chairman of the AMF and a keynote by Jean-Pierre Landau, 3 successive debates will be held:
  • Session 1: ICOs: what supervisory framework?
  • Session 2: Crypto-asset exchanges: how to organize an environment complying with regulatory frameworks?
  • Session 3: Finally, how to ensure the investors’ protection?

Delphine Cuny, finance deputy editor-in-chief at La Tribune, will lead the discussions. Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of Finance, will conclude the event, that will be followed by a cocktail.

Close of registrations: Wednesday 7 November 2018.
